The short version
Universe, Amaze Me keeps everything you save on your own phone. There's no account to make, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. I don't collect, see, sell or share any of your information.
What the app saves, and where
When you log an amazement, the app saves your words, the feeling and date you choose, and a photo if you add one. It also saves your constellations, wishes, Light Walks and settings, such as reminder times. All of this is stored only on your device. It isn't sent to me or to anyone else.
Photos
If you add a photo, you choose it with Apple's photo picker. The app only sees the photo you pick, and keeps a copy of it inside the app. It can't see the rest of your photo library.
Reminders
If you turn on reminders, the app asks permission to send you notifications. Reminders are scheduled on your phone, and you can turn them off at any time in the app or in your iPhone's Settings.
Sharing
If you share a star card or a song, the app opens your iPhone's share sheet. You choose what to share and where it goes.
Links to other apps and websites
Some buttons open Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube or a website. Those services have their own privacy policies, and what you do there isn't covered by this one.
Backups
The app doesn't sync to iCloud. If you back up your iPhone with iCloud Backup or a computer, Apple may include the app's data in that backup, under Apple's own privacy terms.
Deleting your data
You can delete any amazement in the app. Deleting the app removes everything it has saved from your phone.
Children
The app doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it doesn't collect information at all.
Changes
If the app ever changes how it handles information, I'll update this page and the date at the top before the change goes live.
